Clinical Supervisor
Lou is an experienced psychotherapist registered with the HCPC. She specialises in Internal Family Systems Therapy and has worked in private practice since 2008. Peter Jackson
Person Centred and Psychodynamic Counsellor
Peter is a BACP accredited counsellor with a psychodynamic approach, and a BPC accredited practitioner of Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). He offers open-ended psychodynamic counselling and time-limited therapy (DIT, 16 weeks). Both types of therapy explore how you relate to yourself, others and your past, in order to identify unhelpful patterns you want to change. DIT might be suitable for clients wanting a limited number of sessions with a focus on current relationships, while open-ended counselling allows more time to process loss, trauma and personal growth. Peter will work to help you clarify your concerns, understand how your internal experience impacts your life, and support you to make important changes in these areas of your life.
Fianna Pacheco
Clinical Psychologist
Fianna is an experienced bilingual (English / Spanish) clinical psychologist registered with the HCPC. She integrates therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s needs, expectations and goals. This approach covers:
-
Psychodynamic Therapy to understand the internal world
-
CBT to help gain new perspectives and alternative ways of thinking, behaving and managing feelings and symptoms
-
Mindfulness to help with grounding and working on the awareness of the present moment
-
Solution Focused Therapy to help set goals and find ways to achieve them.
She has a sensitive, compassionate and non-judgemental approach. Through active listening she creates a safe environment to openly express thoughts and feelings, thereby deepening self-knowledge, as well as relieving symptoms through self-reflection about the client’s internal life and behaviours.
